Kelly Diekmann, MBA
I love executing big ideas, creative designing as well as technical coding – all of which are required for a great performing website. I graduated with an MBA (marketing emphasis), and a BS in Information Systems with minors in Math, Spanish and Art. I thought I’d be working for some Fortune 500 company, but before I knew it, my web design ‘hobby’ got out of control and I established KDesign in 2004. Over the years, I’ve curated a team of talented graphic designers, SEO experts, and killer copywriters to help support my clients’ website needs. I adore working with small businesses and entrepreneurs, and they appreciate my honesty and excellent customer service.
In 2018, I teamed up with my longtime colleague (and amazingly talented designer), John Wooten, to launch Break Into Web – the first online course of its kind to help aspiring freelancers learn not only how to build great websites, but how to build a business out of building websites. With decades of combined freelance success, we are excited to be mentoring the next generation of web superstars.
I’m also the ringleader of the Diekmann circus which includes my handsome husband Casey, three daughters, two dogs, and any number of neighborhood kids at any given moment.
