Care Service Plan covers the essentials your website needs behind the scenes, including premium WordPress hosting, theme and plugin updates, backups, advanced security, uptime monitoring and website support.
How much does website maintenance cost?
The Care Service Plan starts at $77 per month. E-commerce websites start 20% higher because they require additional maintenance and complexity. (One-Page websites start at $47/month)
Do I need website maintenance if my website doesn't change very often?
Yes. Even a website whose content rarely changes still relies on hosting, WordPress, themes and plugins that require ongoing updates, monitoring and maintenance to prevent hacking and downtime.
Does Care Service Plan include website hosting?
Yes. Care Service Plan includes managed WordPress hosting, so your hosting and website maintenance stay under one roof.
What happens if my website goes down?
We monitor your website for downtime so we're alerted when there's a problem and can investigate what happened immediately. We typically have your website back online before you know it's down.
What happens if my website gets hacked?
Care includes security and vulnerability monitoring designed to catch problems and reduce risk. If something happens, we'll assess the issue and determine what's needed to get your site cleaned up and running properly again, or restore a backup.
Can you make changes to my website for me?
Yes. Care Service Plan clients can contact us when they need website help. Depending on the request, the work may be handled as support or quoted separately. If you want KDesign proactively identifying and making ongoing improvements to your website, Optimize Care Plan is the better fit.
Can you maintain a website you didn't build?
Usually, yes. We'll need to review the website first to make sure it's something we can responsibly support.
What's the difference between Care and Optimize?
Care Service Plan keeps your existing website maintained, secure and supported. Optimize Service Plan includes Care (if KDesign built the website) and adds proactive on-site work to improve how your website gets found and how well it works for your business.
Do you provide website maintenance outside Boulder?
Absolutely. KDesign is based in Longmont and provides website maintenance and support for businesses throughout Boulder County, Colorado and beyond (even overseas).
Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
No. All of our service plans are month-to-month. We want you to stay with us because you want to. Not because you have to!
